Please help!!!

Renamed it before reinstalling magicalpad. I thought that maybe would sove the problem.

But back tot the old maps. As I said I found them, but when I try to open one of those, the app shuts down/ crashes immediately.

What I also found in this folder are pdf files of the old maps. I do not remember if I have exported those myself, or if magicalpad did this. Anyway. I can get some info back even if I have to build the maps over again.

P.S.

Because there is no response from the side of magicalpad I am looking into other mindmap-/notetaking apps. Sorry fot them, but my work does not stop.

It helps me with half of the problem.

I quitted the Dropbox Sync as you told and effectively the application stays now open presenting all my documents. When I open one it shows me the name of all the sheets that composed the document but unfortunately it shows a white page, without anything I created before. If I try to create a new sheet, it let me use the application normally but it does not save anything. When I open this document again it is only a white sheet.

The only way I manage to create something and keep it, is to create a completely new document. That is one important thing, but I would also like to access my old documents.

Anyway, I thank you again for your help.

But that also did not work.

TIP / workaround:
If you switch the sync setting to dropbox of at startup, you can use the app, but then there is no sync.
You have to be quick. It took me five times starting before I could turn it of.
It works like this:
– start the magicalpad app
– as the startup screen disappears immediately tap on the settings button in the right upper corner of the screen.
– when settings open, immediately switch the first setting, which is: “Dropbox sync” to off
It might take a few times before you are quick enough to switch it of.

If sync to Dropbox is switched of You can use the app in the usual way.
You are able to send the map to dropbox by exporting it.
