- Task Dependencies. The user should be able to make a task dependent on the completion of another task. If the parent task has not been completed, the dependent task should be hidden in the Task view. You should also create a toggle switch that would switch between displaying all tasks, regardless of dependencies, or hiding dependent tasks.
- An option to display the subtask hierarchy in the Task view. This could be another toggle switch that would toggle between a flat view and a hierarchical view
- Drag/drop in the Task view. For example, the user should be able to drag a task into the Next tasks view.
- Ability to delete Tags. For instance, many of the built-in tags are tags that I’d never use, but I don’t see any way to remove them from the list.
- A Gantt chart view. This would be accessed from within the Task view as one of the options on the left side of the screen.

Thank you Brad for your suggestions. Awesome feedback. Looking forward to your contributions to this community.
These are certainly great features that will add.

Thanks for the reply.
Regarding item #2 (Subtask hierarchy). This could be implemented by expanding on the existing paradigm in the Notebooks & Pages item, which allows the user to drill down from the top-level notebook to a page within a notebook.
Once the user has drilled down to a page within a notebook, he should be able to continue drilling down through the hierarchy in the mind map or outline. Consider the following examples:
Widgets (page level item) -> Blue Widgets (sub-item) -> Buy Blue Widgets (task)
Widgets (page level item) -> Yellow Widgets (sub-item) -> Big Yellow Widgets (sub-sub item)In the above examples, the Task view should show the hierarchy leading to the Buy Blue Widgets task, but since the Yellow Widgets hierarchy contains no tasks, it should not be displayed in the Task view. Thus, the Task view should only display hierarchies which eventually lead to a task.

Thank you Brad for the details. I might reach out to you when we get there with more questions.
thanks,

Also, in the Task view, the page hierarchy is currently ignored and all pages and sub-pages are displayed as a flat list. I’d like the Task view to reflect the page hierarchy as well.
